Salasar, earlier a complete and typical village like many others in Rajasthan in olden times around the 1800 A.D. has transformed to a decently developed area of around 2-3 square kilometer area today with shops and services of many kinds. The many facilities include:

We could spot an internet cafe, good simple hotels(1 star) with clean rooms around Rs 1000 starting and also lower in other hotels and clean 'Saraays' at this place. Seeing the increasing developments and growing prospects.of this place and the activities of the Samiti, there is a residential builders group who has even made a 8-10 storey building society in this area too. What great a place to buy a flat close by and visit Balaji everyday. This development can be seen majorly in this area and then not much for at least 50-100 Km in this deserted place around and all this runs only with the spiritual powers and belief in the Salasar Balaji Dham.
Water supply and boring water at Salasar Balaji:
The ground has water till a reasonable limit and thus boring water is used most places by the locals and hotels/ ashrams for most other activities apart from drinking. And the municipal corporation has provided a decent amount of drinking water through pipelines in this area in comparison to the dissertation around for long distances. The underground water in this area is too sour for you to experience even while bathing though if you are from the other parts of India with good water supply. The hotels and sarais, all use the underground water for cleaning, bathing and washing purposes and more. The temple inside has adequate amount of water supply.
