Main gate Salasar Dham, Rajasthan
This is the lobby of the gate facing towards the South Eastern side. This lobby/ Hallway will take you to the main verandah of temple. Just before you enter the main open verandah, you should take off your shoes to deposit or leave on the left side and wash your hands with taps in this passage on the left itself.
Main verandah of Salasar Hanuman Mandir
Standing from this position, on the left as shown with aluminium windows shown is the karyalaya (office) cum donation office. Just on the backside is of this is the main Idol of Salasar Balaji being established. Our way to reach that is to walk straight from here to the main standing in red kurta and then left. We will come back to more description of this main verandah later.
This is outside of the main hall of the temple. Below is the picture taken towards backside with people attending the awesome aarti of Salasar Balaji.
The ambiance is awesomely pious. Various small birds rest on the few trees being uncut in the central verandah.
On times of great rush, these shutters are used to divert the pilgrims from the other side. Right now we will proceed straight to the main hall.
Silver mountings on the walls and ceiling all around the Salasar Balaji Mandir is a treat to watch. The door of the main hall has Shri Ram Darbar as shown in the picture. LCDs are placed on a couple of places in the temple to give darshan to the pilgrims.
After you cross the main door, is a big hall with a high ceiling of around 3 stories up. The hall is around 20 square meter and you are entering from the northern side. After entering far ahead in the centre back is the small room where Balaji Idol is situated. You will have to do darshan from a little far off distance of around 15 feet meanwhile travelling and being pushed forward to rush out. Try to be on the extreme right at the main gate and then travel through the grill with clear darshan. A Couple of Pandits are standing alongside the railings to take your prasad and offer it to Hanuman Ji. You will be walking then towards the left-back side of the main temple room. The darshan are only till you are in front of the main room so do a good darshan before you are pushed out of sight by the huge pilgrims and the facilitators alongside.
