There are Prasad Shops, Hotels, Dharamsalas etc on both sides of the road and it is a pleasure to walk through such an electrifying atmosphere and what you get up there at the Bhawan is what is beyond explaination. The presence of Maa Bhagwati can actually be felt in the whole temple compound. However, just in case you wish to offer Maa, a garland of flowers, you will not find a good one up there. It would be a regular marigold flowers(Genda Phool) or a simple mala made of Marigold flowers up there. Better take it from your home city or other.
There are various series of steps from all directions that lead up to the main temple compound. You have a main security check in the main building after you climb the stairs up. Inside the main temple area, the main temple is made under an old Vat Vriksha.
